Mid South

This was my first time in Oklahoma. I’ve driven through OK on several occasions but this was my first stay and boy was it a trip to remember. Upon arrival, the temps were in the 70s. However, two days later, the temps were in the 30s. I was conflicted, to say the least, I love the snow but I hate being cold. On Saturday morning I lined up with several hundred riders for the 100 miler and OK did not disappoint. Rolling red clay hills, expansive views and gosh-awful headwinds for what seemed like forever made this quite the event.

Crossing the finish line 8 hours later I remember a surreal feeling and an equally surreal sighting. Check out my IG page to learn more.
